Does SILNS ever make a sound?
Not unless you ask it to. It is silent by default — no chime at the end, no buzz, no notification. There is an optional tone you can switch on for a particular timer if you want one, and it stays off until you do.
Do I have to install anything?
No. SILNS runs in the browser you already have — Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. On a phone or tablet you can add it to the home screen, and then it opens full screen like an app, straight to your timers.
Does it work without wifi?
Yes. Once SILNS is open the timer runs on the device itself, so a connection dropping mid-session changes nothing. It also survives the screen locking or the page reloading — the session comes back where it should be, because the time is worked out from the clock rather than counted down in the page.
Can I put it on the TV or tablet in the room?
Yes. Open SILNS on the spare screen, and it shows a six-digit code and a QR code. Enter the code on your phone — or point the camera at it — and both screens run the same session, with your phone as the control.

Can I get a refund?
